This line was inspired by the Design12 competition themed “I am with you” held to raise funds for the Japan earthquake and tsunami in 2011. Done in collaboration with Elly Mac, Roopa used the ancient art of origami to create symbols of peace and solidarity; The ‘injured’ crane signified the tragic circumstances that the people of Japan faced at the time (and even now). She adapted the Japanese typography to convey the message “I am with you”, a message the postcards were stamped with. You can order for these designs by called Roopadesigns on 0207 801 3100.

We love stationery, so much that it’s a part of our business. But it is not any plain ol’ notebook or diary- we dabble in beautiful artistic designs, which make writing lot more fun.

They are stylish, cute and very handy. Keep one handy in your purse- you never know where you you may need to jot down something important or inspirational. Fit a pen in the spirals and you will never be caught rummaging the bag or a drawer looking for a pen and paper.
